The last thing we heard about the new Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is that the device will be announced in September. We had previously heard that it would be unveiled at IFA, and now it would appear that we may have a possible Samsung Galaxy Note 3 release date.
According to a recent report, Samsung will be sending out invites in August for a Samsung Unpacked event that will take place on the 4th of September, a couple of days before IFA Berlin, which kicks off on the 6th of September.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is rumored to feature a 5.99 inch full HD Super AMOLED display, we also heard last week that Samsung may produce an LCD version of the Galaxy Note 3, both devices will feature a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
When Samsung launched the Galaxy S4, two different processor versions of the handset were announced, this is something we are expecting for the Galaxy Note 3.
One version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will come with a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, this version will be launched in the US and Europe, there will also be another version which will feature a new Samsung Exynos 5420 processor.
We are also expecting LTE and 3G versions of the Galaxy Note 3, the LTE version is rumored to come with 3GB of RAM and the 3G version is rumored to come with 2GB of RAM.
The Galaxy Note 3 will come with a range of storage options which will include 16GB, 32GB and 64GB of built in storage, there have also been rumors that Samsung may launch a 128GB model.
The camera on the Galaxy Note 3 is rumored to be a 13 megapixel camera, which will come with a range of advanced camera features, as yet we do not know what features will be included on the camera.
When the Galaxy S4 was launched, Samsung introduced its new eye tracking technology, in the form of Smart Pause, which pauses a video when you take your eyes off the screen, and Smart Scroll, which lets you scroll down a web page by using your eye. These features are expected to be available in the Note 3.
If Samsung do introduce the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 at a special Samsung Unpacked event in September, then we would expect the handset to go on sale before the end of September.
Samsung are expected to launch the Galaxy Note 3 globally at the same time, and we would expect the device to be available in the US and Europe before the end of September.
